Atmospheric Intelligence from Satellite

AeroTraq

Six years of atmospheric exposure data for any location. Pollution levels, emission sources and trend direction, read from ESA Sentinel-5P and translated into a clear site assessment.

The Gap

Air quality above a development site or industrial facility is rarely assessed before decisions are made. Planning applications, acquisitions and environmental reviews rely on ground sensor networks that are sparse, delayed and often absent entirely.

ESA's Sentinel-5P satellite has been measuring atmospheric composition continuously since 2018. That data exists. AeroTraq pulls it for any coordinate, builds the exposure history, and identifies which industrial sources are consistently upwind.

No Ground Sensors Required

Satellite coverage is global and continuous. AeroTraq works for any location, including those with no local air quality monitoring infrastructure.

Six Years of History

Sentinel-5P data from 2018 onwards gives a long enough record to identify trends, seasonal patterns and changes in nearby industrial activity.

What AeroTraq Produces

Atmospheric Exposure Score

0 to 100 Site Score

Six-year mean NO2 and SO2 levels at the site coordinate, benchmarked against national and regional baselines. A single score showing where the site sits relative to comparable locations.

Emission Source Map

Upwind Source Identification

ERA5 wind data overlaid with the E-PRTR industrial emissions register to identify which registered emitters are consistently upwind of the site, and what they report releasing.

Trend Analysis

Six-Year Trajectory

Atmospheric exposure over six epochs, showing whether air quality at the site is improving, stable or deteriorating, and whether that change correlates with changes in nearby industrial activity.

Pollutants Covered

Multi-Pollutant Coverage

Nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO) and formaldehyde from Sentinel-5P TROPOMI. Each is a recognised indicator of different industrial emission types.
